Tinker imagineers is an award-winning experience design agency in Utrecht. We design and build narrative spaces that engage and inspire. Our scope of work includes exhibitions, visitor centres, and multi-media theatres all around the world.
We are now looking for an experienced 3D designer with creative, innovative ideas and excellent social skills. You have at least 5 years of relevant experience and are able to think and present in a strong conceptual way. You have a design style that appeals to the imagination and a background in similar projects: museum, theatrical and/or scenographic. Finally, you have extensive experience in designing collection exhibitions and also have experience with cross-media design projects.
As senior 3D designer, you develop the spatial dimensions of Tinker projects. In doing so, you go through all the phases of a project, from concept development and creative design to the art direction during production. In addition to this primary responsibility, at Tinker you always work together with other disciplines that have to work together effectively and creatively to create a multidisciplinary 'experience design'. More or less knowledge of, interest in and vision of that broad process is therefore essential.
idea and concept development
mastery of the necessary Apple design software (Vectorworks, photoshop and Indesign)
An exciting job in the heart of Utrecht with top-notch clients and a super passionate and friendly team. A market-based salary with an additional profit sharing for the team each year. Also a pension scheme, a delicious vegetarian lunch, lots of parties and fun and not to forget a Tinker electric boat with which you can explore the Utrecht canals with colleagues or friends.
Then we would like to meet you! Use the 'apply' button below to share your details with us and we will ask you a few questions. An extensive motivation letter is not necessary, but a portfolio demonstrating your experience is.
Please note: without relevant experience with similar projects, there is unfortunately no point in applying.
